Equity Reference Data Team
Our Equity Reference Data solutions are foundational to the success of Bloomberg’s Enterprise Content business. We have built a best-in-class data offering that meets client demand across global equity markets. Equity reference data underpins a wide range of workflows across investment, risk, regulatory, and ESG domains — driving analytics, automation, and decision-making across the buy and sell sides.
This business is a critical pillar of our growth strategy in Enterprise Data. Our ambition is to continue servicing the most complex data needs of our clients, enabling them to innovate and deliver value to their stakeholders. The team is responsible for identifying, designing, and delivering data solutions that leverage Bloomberg’s extensive equity datasets across Cash Equity and Listed Equity Derivatives covering security master, dividend forecasts and derived analytics.
Success in this role requires a deep understanding of global cash and derivatives equity markets, the data that drives them, and the challenges clients face in integrating and scaling these datasets for business advantage.

Identify and implement improvements to operational efficiency and workflow automation
Understand how clients leverage data science and quantitative methods to extract value from large, complex equity datasets

Strong understanding of global equity markets — including market structure, corporate actions, and fundamental and reference data
Familiarity with the trade lifecycle and data flows across front-, middle-, and back-office functions
Awareness of evolving client challenges driven by regulatory, market structure, and data transformation trends
