    Job Skills / Requirements

     

    Sunstates Security is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to support HR operations, recruiting, and onboarding in the New Castle, Wilmington, and Newark, DE region.

     

    This is an in-office position offering a competitive salary of up to $65,000 , plus an annual performance-based bonus , full medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, a 401k with company match , generous PTO, tuition assistance, and other employee benefits.

    Key Responsibilities

    Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

     

    + Identify and recruit high-potential candidates whose skills, experience, and values align with Sunstates Security.

    + Partner with management to identify hiring needs, understand job requirements, and create job descriptions.

    + Conduct interviews and manage the full hiring process, including phone screens, in-person interviews, background checks, and reference checks.

    + Assist with onboarding, including preparing offer letters, tracking pre-employment paperwork, and coordinating with HR.

    + Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System with resumes, interview notes, salary, and employment data.

    + Utilize social media platforms to advertise open positions and engage potential candidates.

    + Attend local networking events and job fairs to build talent pipelines.

     

    Operations & Compliance

     

    + Ensure employee licensing and certifications are current and compliant with state requirements.

    + Run Overtime and Turnover reports, assisting in strategies to reduce both to maintain company standards.

    + Complete safety and accident reporting.

    + Obtain random drug test results tracking.

    + Review schedules, submit payroll, and maintain accurate employee records.

    + Complete QA audits for client sites and regional office.

    + Respond to unemployment hearings via ADP and submit termination reports with documentation.

    + Order uniforms and equipment for employees as needed.

     

    Training & Employee Development

     

    + Coordinate new hire completion of Sunstates Security Orientation and SOLO training.

    + Maintain accurate training and education records for all personnel.

    + Support employee training and questions related to eHub, LMS, Post Orders, and other operational systems.

     

    Education Requirements (All)

     

    Bachelor's Degree from 4 year college/university
