    About the Role:

    As a **National Education Training and Consulting Specialist** , you’ll work in a multidisciplinary setting to support Devereux schools and professionals.

    You will also:

    + Design and deliver engaging professional development sessions using active training methodologies.

    + Provide consultation and technical support to education directors, teachers, counselors, and school leadership teams.

    + Conduct assessments of school/classroom climate and individual student behavior using behavioral frameworks.

    + Analyze data to inform and guide interventions at both individual and systemic levels.

    + Support the implementation of curricular resources and academic interventions.

    + Travel regularly to multiple Devereux centers across various states for on-site consultation, observation, and training.

    + Perform additional duties as assigned to support the continuous improvement of the National Education Department.

     

    This role includes **regular travel** to Devereux centers across multiple states for direct consultation, observation, and training.

    Qualifications

    To qualify, the Training & Consulting Specialist will have:

    + **Education:** Master’s degree in Education required; Special Education Certification strongly preferred. BCBA certification or eligibility is preferred.

    + **Experience:** 3–5 years of experience in special education, including a minimum of 3 years of classroom teaching. Proven experience in behavioral and systems-level consultation, training, and public speaking.

    + **Skills:** Exceptional communication, customer service, collaboration, and leadership abilities. Demonstrated capacity to work independently, adapt to dynamic environments, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
