• Desktop Support Technician

    TEKsystems (Frankfort, KY)


    Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to join a stable and mission-driven organization. This role offers the opportunity to support a meaningful cause while working in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Analyze requirements and assist in the selection, installation, testing, and support of network devices and related hardware/software.

    + Provide technical support to users via an internal request system, resolving issues related to network infrastructure, policies, and procedures.

    + Troubleshoot and support enterprise software including Active Directory, email, data backup, antivirus, and network accounts.

    + Support agency security standards and maintain required documentation.

    + Assist with daily maintenance and administration of the local area network.

    + Maintain network documentation and configuration records.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Top Skills Required:

    + Experience providing end-user support both in-person and remotely, including hardware/software troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades.

    + Strong customer service skills with the ability to build trust and confidence among users.

    + Minimum 2 years of experience supporting Windows 11, Office 365, Outlook, etc.

    + Experience with routers and switches is a plus.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent technical/vocational training (year-for-year substitution).

    + Minimum 2 years of professional experience in desktop/end-user support.

    + Experience in computer programming, systems analysis, or network support may substitute for the degree requirement.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Frankfort, KY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
