Role: SafeTrace Tx Transunion Management Application Analyst
Length: 6-month contract-to-hire
Our Pediatric Provider customer in the southeast is looking to hire a Safetrace Analyst to join their team in a 6-month contract-to-hire model. The preference is that this person will be supporting Safetrace inside of a Epic Beaker environment and must be able to understand the technical nuances between the two applications, how they work together and what is necessary to keep them running effectively,
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1. System Support & Troubleshooting
+ Serve as the primary contact for Safetrace-related issues.
+ Provide day-to-day technical support , ensuring system uptime and resolving errors or data inconsistencies.
+ Monitor system performance and coordinate with vendors for updates or patches.
2. System Configuration & Integration
+ Design and implement workflows , rules, and data integrations.
+ Configure modules for blood product tracking , donor management , and transfusion safety .
+ Ensure seamless integration with other systems like Epic Beaker or third-party applications.
3. User Support & Training
+ Offer technical and clinical consultation to end users.
+ Develop and maintain training materials and assist with user onboarding.
+ Provide on-call support and assist with daily monitoring of production systems.
4. Reporting & Data Analysis
+ Create and maintain operational, clinical, and compliance reports using internal tools or platforms like Power BI or Crystal Reports.
+ Support audits and performance improvement initiatives by extracting and analyzing data.
5. Documentation & Quality Control
+ Maintain detailed documentation including workflow guides , test scripts , and configuration records .
+ Perform laboratory tests to ensure blood product quality and compliance with standards.
6. Regulatory Compliance
+ Ensure systems meet FDA, HIPAA , and other regulatory requirements.
+ Participate in audits and investigations related to adverse events or deviations.
7. Collaboration
+ Work closely with clinical lab staff , IT teams , and stakeholders to align system functionality with operational needs.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Birmingham, AL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $90.00/hr.
