    The People Operations organization delivers a comprehensive platform for end-to-end operational services and employee life-cycle experiences. From hire-to-retire, we deliver operational excellence and lead with empathy, offering Human Resources (HR) products that support every candidate, employee, and manager. As we enter an exciting phase of modernization, we are leveraging AI to enhance our experiences and increase agility in response to rapid change. Our scope spans Employee Self-Service, support, hire-to-retire processes, and the enablement of HR programs.

     

    Your Mission: Sr.HR Business Program Manager, Hiring

     

    As our new Sr.HR Business Program Manager, Hiring **,** you’ll be the strategist and innovator behind seamless hiring experiences. Here’s what you’ll do:

     

    + The Sr HR Program Manager, Hiring -plays a key role in delivering high-quality hiring experiences for our global business teams, hiring managers, candidates, and employees.

    + You will focus on delivering services and experiences that are tailored to the needs of the businesses, personal and empathetic for the candidates, and compliant with our policies.

    + You will lead a **team of 4** that delivers with excellence – and you will lead work across teams and organizations to design and continuously improve our solutions and services to best meet the evolving needs of our customers.

    + You will work at global scale, building partnerships across organizations, monitoring and measuring the services our community delivers, and leveraging data and insights to drive optimization and transformation.

     

    This is a work -hybrid position – Team up in person from our beautiful campus **three days a week** to spark ideas, build connections, and make an impact together!

    Responsibilities

    Process Design and Execution

    + Champions process execution by utilizing broad knowledge of process tools and methodologies (e.g., value stream mapping) in accordance with compliance and controls for team. Establishes a clear end-to-end view of expected business outcomes for owned processes by leveraging data, research, and assessments. Promotes stakeholder engagement rhythm to ensure engagement and alignment across teams to drive process outcomes. Promotes the identification of alternative solutions and options to resolve challenges with business partners across teams.

    + Champions process design and the development of business outcomes to assess process performance for complex processes across business functions. Leads definition of yearly goals and provides vision for strategy, and defines solutions for anchoring to industry standards and process measures, implementing controls, maintaining compliance, optimizing customer experience, and helping to drive cost down for team.

    Process Governance

    + Oversees end-to-end governance for complex processes across business functions. Accountable for documentation maintenance for flow, controls, underlying systems, and requirements needed for team. Drives a culture of governance.

    Process Maintenance and Optimization

    + Champions the incorporation of process methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, value stream mapping, Prosci) and recommends prioritization for process improvement, including optimizing, maintaining, and transforming current processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness for team. Leverages feedback and gains buy in from others to make process decisions for improvement and builds a business case for change.

    + Orchestrates change management efforts using broad understanding of the business (e.g., readiness, timing, impact on stakeholders, data, tools, systems, policy, return on investment [ROI]); communicates overarching future goals and roadmap to stakeholders.

    + Sets broad strategic goals and roadmap for process monitoring and evaluation for team. Uses analyses and takes business capabilities into consideration to set the strategic roadmap and subsequent automation of complex processes by translating data into action. Leverages statistical analyses and data to benchmark and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs) to better understand complex processes and define and lead changes. Leverages data analysis results to guide team toward opportunities (e.g., aligning to industry standards, increasing productivity/efficiency, maintaining compliance/controls). Influences and informs leadership direction and communicates findings to relevant stakeholders to promote continuous feedback loops.

    Process Risk Management

    + Anticipates risk and drives risk mitigation across a complex process lifecycle (e.g., design, execution, optimization, evaluation), including overseeing logging and tracking risk for team. Guides team to manage process risk. Provides thought leadership and builds capabilities to ensure robust risk mitigation across business functions.

    Supplier Governance

    + Drives governance for large vendor contracts for outsourced work on behalf of Microsoft. Drives standardization of supplier processes. Leverages supplier performance, controls, and metrics and makes strategic decisions to improve supplier processes; defines new targets.

    People Management

    + Managers deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring. Model: Live our culture. Embody our values. Practice our leadership principles. Coach: Define team objectives and outcomes. Enable success across boundaries. Help the team adapt and learn. Care: Attract and retain great people. Know each individual’s capabilities and aspirations. Invest in the growth of others.

    Qualifications

    Required/minimum qualifications

    + Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, HR, or related field AND 6+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience.

    + 4+ years management (e.g., people, project, process, vendor, change) experience.

    + 3+ years of experience partnering with a wide network of global, cross-organizational partners to deliver effective business solutions

    Additional or preferred qualifications:

    + Ability to focus on the big picture and prioritize and perform effectively in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment

    + Excellent communication skills (both verbal & written)

     

    Business Program Management M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.
