The Global Customer Success (GCS) organization, an organization within CE&S, is leading the effort to enable customer success on the Microsoft Cloud by harnessing leading, AI-powered capabilities and human expertise to deliver innovation solutions that accelerate business value, drive operational excellence and nurture long term loyalty.

As a **Technical Program Manager,** you will serve as a strategic and operational partner to managers and cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless business operations and driving impact at scale. In this role, you will leverage your leadership skills and subject matter expertise to drive strategic initiatives that help customers unlock the full value of their Azure investments. Your work will empower organizations to transform their business and operations through cutting-edge AI solutions built on Azure. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 100% from home other than required travel for customer, employee, business meetings as needed.

Responsibilities
The **Technical Program Manager** is a strategic and operational partner, responsible for driving business rhythm, operational excellence, and cross-team alignment. This role supports the seamless execution of business priorities, prepares for and facilitates key stakeholder engagements, tracks initiatives and KPIs, and enables continuous improvement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
+ Business Analysis & Insights
+ Lead business analysis efforts, leveraging tools such as PowerBI, Microsoft Copilot, and PowerApps to optimize workflows and accelerate delivery.
+ Gather learnings from planning and execution to inform course corrections and future strategy.
+ Monitor industry trends and best practices, sharing insights to enhance team performance.
Initiative & KPI Management
+ Track, analyze, and report on key initiatives and business metrics across the team.
+ Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to provide visibility into progress, risks, and opportunities.
+ Surface actionable insights and recommendations to leadership, enabling data-driven decision-making.
Operational Excellence & Business Rhythm
+ Design, implement, and optimize business processes to drive efficiency, scalability, and consistency.
+ Establish and manage operating rhythms (e.g., business reviews, planning cycles, customer engagements) to support strategic priorities.
+ Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, proactively recommending improvements.
Meeting Preparation & Stakeholder Engagement
+ Prepare executive briefings, agendas, and supporting materials for high-impact meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
+ Coordinate logistics, pre-reads, and follow-up actions to ensure meetings drive outcomes and accountability.
+ Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, ensuring alignment and timely communication of decisions and action items.
Cross-Team Collaboration
+ Partner with managers, directs, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless business operations.
+ Act as a liaison between global and regional teams, driving alignment and effective communication.
+ Support change management initiatives, ensuring successful adoption of new processes and tools.
+ Culture & Continuous Improvement
+ Foster a culture of learning, innovation, and inclusivity.
+ Model impactful community engagement, sharing best practices and coaching others.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
+ 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
+ Experience preparing executive-level materials and managing cross-functional projects.
+ Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data visualization/reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI).
+ Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
+ Proven track record of driving operational improvements and business outcomes.
Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
