    Compensation and Schedule for the Hospital Biller

     

    Hospital Biller – Full-time, Hybird position, $21-$24 per hour, 7:30am -4:30pm Monday -Friday, Hybird Schedule- Work in office on Monday and Thursday. Work remotely on Tuesday, Wed, and Friday . Monthly and year-end bonuses available!

     

    Required Qualifications of the Hospital Biller

     

    - 4+ years of recent revenue cycle experience required

     

    - 2+ years of recent hospital UB billing experience required

     

    - AHCCCS, BC/BS, and UHC experience preferred

     

    - High school diploma or GED required

     

    - Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen

     

    Responsibilities of the Hospital Biller

     

    - Work and resolve day edits, registration edits, and NPI edits

     

    - Handle insurance payer denials and rejections

     

    - Work with various departments for resolves

     

    - Complete 160 claims per day minimum

     

    - Perform some rebills on late charges

     

    - Work with paper and electronic billing

     

    - Calculate reimbursement

     

    - Look up eligibility and claims on payer portals
