Join our dynamic team as the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) New Product Assessment Program Manager - Vice President, where you will manage the program management office for the New Product Assessment framework, ensuring products and services are developed, deployed, and maintained in a manner that is ethical, compliant, and aligned with industry best practices.
As a New Product Assessment Program Manager within the Commercial & Investment Bank, you will lead the strategic roadmap, oversee project execution, and implement enhanced governance frameworks and communication strategies. Your role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing regulatory and audit responses, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the CIB Controls organization.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Lead the development and maintenance of the program roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
+ Oversee the execution of multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of outcomes.
+ Monitor and manage project progress, providing guidance and support to ensure milestones are met.
+ Integrate existing frameworks into a unified governance model for the CIB NPA framework.
+ Manage responses to regulatory exams, audit, and internal control testing requests.
+ Develop and implement effective training and communication strategies for stakeholders.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for program initiatives.
+ Work with Firmwide and Cross-LOB working groups to design and implement improvements.
+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance frameworks, processes, and project delivery.
+ Identify, assess, and manage project risks, including operational and strategic risks.
+ Effectively plan, allocate, and optimize resources across multiple projects to ensure successful delivery.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
+ 6 years of professional work experience, ideally with an understanding of products and markets in which the CIB operates.
+ Highly motivated with advanced skills in strategy, problem-solving, transformation, and delivery execution.
+ Strong influencing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
+ Project and process management skills, with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Experience in governance, controls, and frameworks for new or modified products and services.
+ Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Monday.com).
+ Ability to identify, assess, and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
+ Ability to plan, allocate, and optimize resources across multiple projects.
+ Bachelor's or master's degree in business or a related field.
+ Proficient knowledge of control and risk management concepts.
+ In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and ethical considerations related to new or modified products and services.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
+ Professional certifications in project management, compliance, or risk management.
+ Experience in a leadership or managerial role.
