    _Our client, a leading personal care/cosmetics manufacturer, is looking for a skilled R&D Document Control Specialist to join their team in the Cook County, IL area!_

     

    **Location:** Cook County, IL

    **Salary:** $55K annually

    **Employment Type:** Full-Time

    Overview:

    Our client, a growing personal care contract manufacturer, is seeking a highly organized Documentation Specialist to support a large client in the greater Chicago area. This is a fast-paced role ideal for someone with strong data entry, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of document control processes.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Maintain and manage the flow of both electronic and hard-copy controlled documents, department files, and resource materials.

    + Write, implement, and maintain document control systems.

    + Log, track, and maintain batch records.

    + Coordinate document control issues among external subcontractors, service providers, and fulfillment houses.

    + Prepare and generate reports regarding quality issues.

    + Complete batch reconciliations and review Bills of Materials (BOMs).

    + Route and log raw material test sheets; manage raw material testing and approvals.

    + Release and approve raw materials in MAX system.

    + Create, print, verify, and log raw material green tags.

    + Manage finished goods status in Access (release, hold, or reject).

    + Send first production samples to customers for approval.

    + Handle all Quality-related FedEx & UPS shipments leaving the facility.

    + Create and maintain Certificates of Analysis (C of A) and Certificates of Manufacture (C of M).

    + Create, review, and approve internal Fill and Assembly specifications.

    + Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    + High School Diploma required.

    + 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.

    + Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

    + Strong communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking English).

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and strong general computer skills.

    + Solution-oriented professional able to interact across all organizational levels.
