As a Process Engineer I at Solstice Advanced Materials, you will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and product quality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate process design into manufacturing operations and identify opportunities for process improvement. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will be instrumental in driving operational excellence and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
You will report directly to our Process Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our **Spokane Valley, WA location** . In this role, you will impact the organization by implementing process improvements that drive cost savings, enhance product quality, and increase customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate process design into manufacturing operations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Conduct analysis and simulations to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to production teams.
• Process control (SPC/SQC) and statistical analysis.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
+ Assist in the development and implementation of process engineering strategies and initiatives
+ Conduct process simulations and analyses to identify areas for improvement and optimization
+ Provide technical support to resolve process-related issues and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate process design into manufacturing operations
+ Contribute to the optimization of efficiency, cost reduction, and product quality
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Material Science, or Physics is preferred
+ Recent college graduate to 2 years’ experience in an engineering field
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Six Sigma Green belt (able to complete within the first 12 months)

+ Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Experience scoping projects with business level impact
+ Ability to work without guidance or supervision

+ Experience with Management of Change process

COMPENSATION
The annual base salary range for this position is $78k-$82k. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations
