As the **Director of Program Management** here at Solstice Advanced Materials, you will provide the operational backbone that keeps our GR team organized, resourced, and focused on external priorities. This role ensures seamless coordination between the GR team and business functions, manages project timelines and budgets, and oversees external consultant engagements. You will serve as the primary liaison between GR and the business, securing needed information and resources to support advocacy and regulatory initiatives. You will play a critical role in managing the processes, communications, and milestones that drive successful outcomes.
You will report directly to our **Senior Director of Sustainability** and you’ll work out of one of the following locations: **Baton Rouge, Houston, Buffalo (NY), or Morris Plains (NJ)** - on a **Hybrid** in office schedule.
In this role, you will support advocacy programs for Solstice Advanced Materials’ product lines. You will work closely with commercial and legal senior leadership to achieve advocacy successes across several policy areas that will have a tangible impact on business outcomes. This will require directly managing the overall program budget, responsibly allocating resources across geographies and functions with the buy-in of senior leadership, maintaining close relationships with commercial executive leadership, and ensuring progress on program objectives globally.
Responsibilities
+ Lead and oversee program management activities including budgeting, strategy sessions, team leadership, and external consultant management
+ Develop and implement strategies and best practices globally to ensure objective alignment.
+ Serve as the business focal to obtain required information and accomplish program objectives
+ Establish and refresh annually long term policy and resourcing strategy
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
+ Minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering, offering management, regulatory, or research roles.
+ Prior experience in cross-functional leadership.
+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
+ Strong leadership and people management skills.
+ Proven budget management and vendor management skills.
+ Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
+ Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
+ Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
+ Relationships with key commercial stakeholders
WE VALUE
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
+ Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
+ Technical experience on the manufacturing and/or product side.
+ Experience in a global, matrixed organization.
+ Experience in leading large-scale programs.
+ Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
The annual base salary range for this position in Buffalo is $171,000 - $214,000 and the salary range for this position in Morris Plains is $197,000 - $246,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
