As a **Lead Data Architect** at Solstice Advanced Materials (SAM), you'll spearhead the strategic development and implementation of data architectures. Your expertise in data management and integration will drive our data-driven initiatives. Leading a team of data architects, you'll align strategies with organizational objectives. Your strong expertise in the SAM IT landscape will drive innovation and efficiency. You'll establish enterprise-wide data governance, quality frameworks, and security protocols. Your leadership and mentorship will guide teams and align strategies with objectives.
You will report to our Director IT of Gen AI, Data & Analytics Leader who oversees our enterprise data strategy, delivery and platform operations.
Join us and make a significant impact on data architecture, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security. You'll lead the design and optimization of ETL processes, data pipelines, and integration planning. Initiatives for high-performance database management and scalability will be your focus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Design and implement enterprise-wide data strategies and architectural frameworks to optimize data integrity, accessibility, and usability.
+ Lead the development of data governance policies, standards, and compliance protocols, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to derive actionable intelligence from organizational data assets. Facilitate Data and Analytics Steering Committee.
+ Architect scalable and innovative data integration and management platforms, leveraging best-in-class solutions.
+ Oversee and enhance core data infrastructure and associated tools to support seamless business operations.
+ Create clear Operating principles to drive strategic adoption of the Enterprise Data Warehouse as a single, governed source of truth.
+ Ensure robust data security practices and privacy controls are implemented and maintained across all data environments.
+ Champion data-driven decision-making initiatives, aligning insights with strategic business goals.
+ Lead, develop, and mentor a team of data experts, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.
+ Cultivate an inclusive and collaborative workplace culture, promoting both individual success and team cohesion.
+ Apply advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to address intricate data architecture challenges.
+ Deliver high-impact presentations and communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse executive and business audiences.
+ Demonstrate knowledge in SAP systems and their alignment with critical business functions and process optimization.
+ Possess hands-on exposure to Generative AI and ML tools shaping industry advancements.

+ Develop and execute data management strategies to enhance data quality and accessibility
+ Lead data governance efforts, encompassing the establishment of policies, standards, and ensuring regulatory compliance
+ Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to extract valuable insights from data assets
+ Take ownership of data infrastructure and related tools to support business operations
+ Implement and uphold data security measures, ensuring privacy compliance
+ Contribute to datainformed decisionmaking that aligns with the companys objectives
+ Promote an inclusive work environment and facilitate individual and team achievements
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
+ Bachelor’s or a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related field with 5+ years of experience in Data Architecture or related fields.
+ Experience in data management, integration, and architecture with written communication skills and the ability to create straightforward documentation.
+ Experience with Enterprise scale Data Warehouses such as Snowflake.
+ Demonstrated experience with ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines and data replication with tools such as IICS, FiveTran.
+ Hands-on experience with big data technologies, SQL and API ecosystems.
+ Deep knowledge of data engineering and data modeling concepts for both relational database management systems (RDBMS), schema-less databases, and data lakes.
+ Expertise in data governance, data classification, security protocols, and compliance standards.

+ Strong ability to simplify and quantify business processes by collaborating with business stakeholders to drive consensus across diverse teams on definitions and terminology that forms the Critical Data Elements for operational efficiency.
+ Experience and domain knowledge of enterprise systems of records such as SAP for ERP, Salesforce for CRM and associated E2E processes etc.
+ Background in enterprise domains such as Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Experience and others.
+ Working knowledge of languages such as Python, Spark, Scala, Rust, C#, Java or similar.
+ Familiarity with IT Operations, ITIL practices and other service management frameworks.
+ Ownership and Pride in your work and willingness to work in a diverse, cross-functional environment.
COMPENSATION
The annual base salary range for this position is $140,000-$180,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice Advanced Materials considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
