Job Title: Procurement Specialist
Job Description
This role involves managing and streamlining procurement processes to ensure efficient purchasing within the organization. The specialist will utilize their expertise in procurement to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals.
+ Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
+ Evaluate and select vendors based on quality, price, and reliability.
+ Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain optimum supply.
+ Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations in all procurement activities.
Essential Skills
+ Proven experience in procurement and purchasing.
+ Strong negotiation skills.
+ Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
+ Certification in procurement or supply chain management is advantageous.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Boston, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
