As a Global Technology Manager at BASF in Freeport, TX, you will be responsible for driving process innovation and optimizing kneader technology across multiple world-scale plants, particularly in Freeport (FP) and Camaçari (CA). You will collaborate with research and development (R&D) teams, manufacturing units, and customer-facing teams to ensure new products are introduced efficiently, profitably, and sustainably. This role will bridge laboratory innovations and large-scale manufacturing, ensuring customer requirements are met while maintaining process quality and safety.

+ Leading efforts to drive process innovation in kneader technology as part of the global technology team.
+ Being responsible for the operations of the ORP-10 lab and influential leading of the lab support.
+ Scaling up learnings from lab-scale and pilot plant operations to world-scale plants in Freeport (FP) and Camaçari (CA), ensuring alignment with production standards and customer needs.
+ Collaborating within the global team to ensure new product introductions meet customer requirements, profitability, and sustainability targets.
+ Serving as the CPT contact for customer-facing interactions in North America, supporting business teams with technology and product development based on customer feedback.
+ Providing on-demand technical guidance to manufacturing units, ensuring optimal process and quality steering.
+ Driving and securing long-term technical know-how within CPE through training, coaching, documentation updates and knowledge exchange between global sites
+ Participating as an active member of the global R&D and technical communities, promoting continuous learning and improvement.
+ Leading the management of the process lab, ensuring safe and efficient operations in compliance with local and BASF regulations.
+ Cultivating a motivating team atmosphere by leading through influence, ensuring the team remains customer-focused and aligned with broader business objectives.
+ Overseeing the execution of testing, preparation of reports, and communication of feedback to various teams (CPT, R&D, etc.).
+ Acting as the primary contact for local process and asset management, ensuring continuous compliance and risk mitigation.
If you have...
+ A High School Diploma or GED or equivalent from an accredited institution.
+ 15+ years of experience in a global manufacturing environment in the chemical, polymer, or related industries. QA and Lab experience is a plus.
+ Strong knowledge of kneader technology, process scaling, process safety, and quality assurance practices. Experience with OPEX, digitization, and sustainability projects.
+ Proven ability to perform on a cross-functional team and cultivate a collaborative, customer-centric atmosphere.
+ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information
+ Strong analytical skills with a practical approach to troubleshooting and process improvement.
+ Ability to work in a global team and manage projects across multiple regions.
