Program Coordinator, Program Management | McDonough School of Business - Georgetown University
Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business has a highly experienced professional program staff overseeing the details of corporate executive training delivery and ensuring a successful and memorable custom experience from beginning to end. The Program Coordinator role is an opportunity for growth and development in the world of program management. Key responsibilities include extensive client interaction and communication, in person and virtually, on a daily basis across cultures and borders to support the design and delivery of programming at the intersection of business and policy. The Program Coordinator works closely with cohorts of 30-75 participants in any single program and helps coordinate communication and deliverables with faculty members, instructors, external vendors, and contractors. This position requires the flexibility to work some weekends, early mornings, and evenings up to 20% of the year for program deliveries onsite as well as off-site events or international travel. This role provides the agency to grow professionally and collaborate within a structured environment - and to work on special projects that enhance the operations of the Custom Program Management team. The successful candidate will have a track record for taking initiative and creative problem-solving skills. Essential skills include: outstanding organizational abilities, an eye for detail, outstanding written and oral communication, independent decision-making, and the ability to act under pressure with little to no supervision on most tasks.
Duties include but are not limited to:
+ Manage and execute logistical and operational communication for all ongoing programs
+ Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and vendors to meet contractual obligations for programs
+ Serve as lead contact for all program orientation, program, and graduation activities
+ Communicate program scheduling with key stakeholders, including program participants, and resolve conflicts to ensure a positive client experience
Work Interactions
The Program Coordinator reports to an Associate Director for Custom Executive Education and works closely with staff of the Custom Executive Education team, the Assistant Dean for Custom Program Management, and other units within McDonough School of Business and the broader university community. The Program Coordinator contributes to the successful delivery of complex executive programs through high-quality task management and execution, independent decision-making and problem-solving, and acting with integrity and collegiality. The Program Coordinator’s responsibilities include project management support, event management coordination, extensive client interaction, and program delivery both onsite at Georgetown’s campuses as well as offsite globally and virtually. The Program Coordinator has facility with Google Workspace, takes initiative to improve program processes, is tech savvy, ensures final products of printed materials and classroom preparation are correct and seamless, and can pivot and demonstrate resilience in unexpected situations. This role directly contributes to the University’s mission by developing principled leaders with a global mindset who are committed to serving the common good.
Requirements and Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree required
+ 2 or more years experience in program or event management and client interaction
+ Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects

Pay Range:
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$44,022.00 - $73,406.80
Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
