Fulcrum Consulting, an LRS company, is seeking a Trust Operational Professional with our client in Minneapolis, MN.
Our client is seeking a Trust Operations Professional who will provide comprehensive operational support to a personal trust business, ensuring efficient management of trust accounts and exceptional client service. This role is responsible for the opening and termination of trust accounts, processing disbursements and cash movements, handling daily reconciliations, and supporting advisors and clients with operational needs. The position plays a key role in maintaining data integrity, supporting daily settlements, and ensuring smooth and accurate trust operations.
Responsibilities:
+ Perform trust account operations functions, including opening new trust accounts within the trust administration system and completing all required documentation for trust-owned accounts.
+ Initiate and monitor trust funding and establish interfaces with all relevant feeder and satellite systems used in trust administration.
+ Process account terminations, including de-funding and closure of trust accounts, confirming receipt of waivers and releases, executing delivery instructions, and terminating related system interfaces.
+ Manage client and account maintenance, ensuring records are accurate, complete, and compliant with operational standards.
+ Handle trust account and DDA reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
+ Support cash processing, including entering distributions, researching and correcting errors or omissions, and collaborating with internal partners for reconciliation.
+ Process fee transactions and maintain related records in accordance with established policies.
+ Support daily net settlement activities to ensure timely and accurate cash flow management.
+ Respond to information requests from trust administrators, investment officers, advisors, and clients—ensuring all requests are reviewed and approved under current trust procedures before completion.
+ Maintain strong relationships with advisors and clients through effective communication, attention to detail, and consistent delivery of quality service.
+ Contribute to process improvements and assist with special projects to enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ 1+ years of experience in trust operations, banking operations, or a related financial services role.
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
+ Paralegal or equivalent experience working with legal and trust documents.
+ Experience with trust administration systems and reconciliation tools.
The base range for this contract position is $20 - $40 per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
