    The Access Operations Analyst plays a key role within the Access Division by ensuring that scheduling templates follow leading practices, enabling efficient use of provider capacity. This role involves close collaboration with clinical teams to understand business needs, translate them into technical specifications, and build templates that support operational excellence. Success in this role requires strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.

     

    *The ideal candidate will be proficient in Excel, capable of building pivot tables and locking sheets, and skilled in analyzing reports to develop actionable solutions. They will use data to identify trends, and build insightful reports and dashboards that support strategic decision-making.*

    *This position will be hybrid, and will be expected to be onsite once a week. *

    *Key Responsibilities*

    *Technical Build*

    * Create and maintain accurate scheduling templates for resources (e.g., providers) within the Epic system.

    * Review and implement requests for permanent changes, additions, or new builds in Epic, aligning with leading practices and collaborating with the IS Cadence team as needed.

    * Respond proactively to system-wide changes (e.g., new Epic functionality) by identifying affected templates and making necessary updates.

    *Analytics*

    * Analyze the expected impact of requested template changes and provide insights to department and center leadership for decision-making.

    * Identify and implement downstream changes needed to support template modifications.

    * Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to define issues and contribute to effective solutions.

    * Generate and distribute reports on template utilization, functionality, and modifications.

    *Collaboration*

    * Engage effectively with clinical stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Epic scheduling templates.

    * Partner with other IT departments when shared implementation responsibilities exist.

    * Collaborate with BI/Analytics and IS Cadence teams to produce and share reports on template performance and changes.

     

    Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

    *Required*: Bachelor's degree.

    *Experience*

    *Required:* Two years of experience with Patient Access functions within Epic applications or related experience in a healthcare setting.
