In addition, DPHHS is the largest state agency with a wide range of advancement opportunities whether you are joining the workforce or have several years of experience.** ** *Qualifications for this Career Opportunity*** ** * Knowledge of laboratory principles, project management, quality assurance and safety. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Proficient in laboratory practices such as pipetting and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). * Meet minimum qualifications: o Bachelor’s degree in biological, chemical, or physical science related field (to include but not limited to medical or clinical laboratory science, medical technology, chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, biology, immunology). o Five years of related laboratory work experience such as high complexity clinical laboratories, environmental laboratories, and research laboratories. o Must be licensed by the Montana Board of Clinical Laboratory Science Practitioners as a Clinical Laboratory Specialist. o Equivalent combinations of directly related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis. ** *How to Apply*** To be considered for a DPHHS position, submit the following required documents with your application on the State of Montana Careers website.
