Job Description Summary:
The OhioHealth Administrative Residency Program provides first year master's prepared candidates with hands-on administrative experience and exposure to current challenges facing the health care industry today. The administrative residency allows the resident to gain unparalleled exposure to a specific department within a multi-disciplinary, complex health care organization. Residents will gain experience through project-based work, partner with preceptors and leadership to understand and develop characteristics of leadership, and participate in cross-functional learning within the system. In addition the residents will have an opportunity to network with current and past Administrative Fellows, colleagues and leaders throughout the organization.

Responsibilities And Duties:
Each resident will complete at least one 6- 8 week project with defined deliverables. Students will have the opportunity to showcase their work through a presentation to system leaders and current fellows. Examples include: System-wide clinic access project leader, A 3 Lean project leader for System Heart Failure Informatics Team, Patient value stream mapping project lead for Heart & Vascular Service Line RESIDENT MENTORING PROGRAM Each resident will take part in a group Mentoring program designed to help them build relationships with current and former fellows. EDUCATIONAL SEMINAR Residents will have the opportunity to learn about projects that current fellows are working on in the organization
