    The Electrical Products Group was recently purchased from Avail Infrastructure Solutions by nVent Electric plc (“nVent”) and consists of three business units, Enclosure Systems, Switchgear Systems and Bus Systems. As a part of nVent, the Electrical Products Group is a leading provider of infrastructure solutions, designed to help ensure safe and reliable electrical operations primarily in the infrastructure vertical, including power utilities and data centers.

    General Description

    Responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and management of products within a warehouse. Key duties include receiving and processing incoming shipments, picking and packing orders, maintaining inventory records, and operating equipment like forklifts to move and load/unload materials.

    Education Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:

    High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

    Experience

    At least one year of experience is preferred but not required.

    Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

    Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within a manufacturing environment is preferred.

     

    Knowledge of specific and general safety policies and procedures as relates to the plant and the position is preferred.

    Essential Duties

    + Ensure all relevant safety protocols are followed and report any unsafe conditions or potential hazards to the Production Manager or the designated staff member.

    + Operate forklift trucks and advise supervisors regarding shortages.

    + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

    + Inform the Production Supervisor/Team Leader or another appropriate team member about any concerns regarding equipment, operations, materials, inventory, documentation, etc.

    + Receive, stock, pick, issue, and deliver materials within performance guidelines to assure the happiness of internal and external customers.

    + Perform routine duties such as keeping packers and machine operators supplied with parts and materials, and removing completed items to the storage area or next workstation.

    You have:

    + High school diploma or equivalent experience

    + Minimum 1 year’s production work experience preferred.

    + Knowledge of safety policies and procedures, and the ability to promote compliance with them.

    + Skill in analytical thinking and problem-solving.

    + Skill in communicating effectively through oral and written communications.

    + Ability to meet the physical and environmental demands:

    + Bend, squat down, and reach above your head.

    + Climb stairs and ladders.

    + Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

    + Work in confined spaces.
