The Director, People Solutions provides strategic and operational leadership for the People & Culture Business Partner team, including HR generalist and operational support, as well as partnering closely on matters involving workforce strategy, organizational development, engagement & retention, employee relations, and other workforce member lifecycle needs. Reporting to the AVP, People Solutions & Strategy, this role serves as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to executives and senior leaders across the organization, driving initiatives that strengthen organizational capability, engagement, and support our healthcare outcomes objectives.
This position also leads enterprise-wide HR programmatic work. The Director will leverage analytics, data insights, and emerging technologies – including AI and automation – to enhance People & Culture effectiveness and ensure initiatives are scalable, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals.
Required Education and Experience
10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including at least 5 years in a leadership role managing HR business partners and leading complex employee relations investigations.
Proven success in building relationships and advising executives on organizational design, restructuring, and workforce planning initiatives.
Experience using data, metrics, and analytics to drive decisions and measure organizational impact.
Strong understanding of employment law, compliance standards, and best-in-class People & Culture practices.
Required Credentials

Preferred
Master’s degree in Business, Human Resources or Organizational Development.
SHRM-SCP/SPHR/ODCC or equivalent certification.
Experience implementing HR technology, AI, or automation solutions to enhance and scale People & Culture functions.
Prior experience with a unionized workforce.
Prior experience in healthcare, academic research, or complex matrixed organizations.
Compensation Range
$180,884.00 - $271,326.00 per year
Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
