    Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) | Houston, TX | $45/hr | 2025–2026 SY | In-Person | Nov 17 Start

    Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support students in Houston, TX for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year. This in-person role begins November 17, 2025.

    Position Details

    + Location: Houston, TX

    + Start Date: November 17, 2025

    + End Date: End of school year

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday

    + Hours: 37.5–40/week (school hours)

    + Modality: In-person only

    + Caseload: 50–60 students (max 70)

    + Campus: TBD (assignments based on need; location not selectable)

    + Pay Rate: $45/hr

    Responsibilities

    + Assist SLP with clinical, educational, and treatment-related activities

    + Provide speech and language services within scope of care

    + Support documentation and progress monitoring

    + Collaborate with staff and maintain professional standards

    + Follow all district, state, and Amergis policies

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in communicative sciences and disorders

    + Active Texas SLPA license

    + Minimum 100 hours of supervised fieldwork or equivalent

    + 1 year of SLPA experience preferred

    + Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

    + Knowledge of speech-language disorders and conditions

    + CPR, TB screening, and health certificate (if applicable)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Minimum age: 18
