The schedule for this opportunity will be first shift Monday through Friday, with overtime eligibility.

As a Fleet Mechanic II, you can expect to:

+ Operate automotive, construction and material handling equipment.

+ Operate and repair hydraulic systems

+ Perform engine, electrical and drivability diagnostics/repair.

+ Perform DOT and manufacturer recommended servicing and inspections

+ Provide clear and accurate information when entering work order data into a fleet maintenance system.

+ Be responsible for scheduling and prioritizing work derived from driver reports.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

+ At least 3 years of related experience.

+ High school diploma or its equivalent.

+ Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

+ Customer focused, strong work ethic and positive.

+ Be a safety oriented individual.

+ CDL B license is required, but can be obtained after employment begins and training and reimbursement for both will be provided.

+ Candidates must provide truck technician hand tools.

+ Diesel vocational/technical school certifications desired.

+ This position is contingent upon your ability to pass a preemployment criminal history check and drug screen.

+ Ability to obtain DOT Medical Examiner Certificate (MEC), Form MCSA-5876.
