Salary: $2071 / Week

Position Title: Special Education Teacher – Multiple Openings

+ Self-Contained Intellectual Disabilities (ID) Classroom

+ Resource/Inclusion Setting needed.

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: 2025–2026 School Year

Work Hours: 37.5–40 hours/week (cannot exceed 40 hours)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, school hours (varies by grade level)

Position Overview:

Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, the Special Education Teacher will provide high-quality instruction and support to students in grades K–12. This role requires active collaboration with general education staff to develop and implement individualized student programs, including specialized instruction, tutorial support, and inclusive practices.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)

+ Valid South Carolina Special Education Teaching Certification (required)

+ Minimum of one year of teaching experience (preferred)

+ Preferred Certifications:

+ Standard Elementary Teaching

+ Standard Secondary Teaching

+ Standard Special Teaching

+ Preferred Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1)
