    Salary: $2800 / Week

     

    Moderate/Severe Special Education Teacher – $60–$70/hour (Local)

     

    Start Date: ASAP

     

    Contract Length: 30 weeks

     

    Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM | 40 hours/week

    Amergis is seeking a credentialed Moderate/Severe Special Education Teacher to lead an Elementary Special Needs (ESN) classroom. This full-time, in-person role includes both teaching and case management responsibilities, supported by a team of six paraprofessionals.

    Classroom Details:

    + Grade Level: 3rd–5th

    + Caseload: 12 students

    + Setting: ESN classroom

    + Team Support: 6 paraprofessionals

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Valid California Education Specialist Credential (Moderate/Severe)

    Note: 30-day substitute credentials will not be accepted

    + School-based experience required

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    Compensation:

    + Local Pay Rate: $60–$70/hour

    + Sign-On Bonus: $1,500

    + Travel Weekly Pay: $3,035 gross/week
