Your Opportunity

As a Medical Writer,you willbe responsible forsupporting the Section Editors and Clinical Editors in developing high-quality content within specific content domains. Youwill write/updatecontentbased on yourunderstanding of evidence-based practicesand ability toanalyze and critically appraise medical, nursing,andhealthprofessionsresearch/literature andtranslate findings into point-of-care content.

What You'll Do

+ Write and updatenursing andhealth professionscontent in several formats for point-of-care.

+ Perform structured literature searches and research analyses to ensure inclusion of recentrelevantevidenceacross all content areas.

+ Collaboratewith editorial team andmedical librarianstosystematizeliterature surveillance for and management of standard and reusable content.

+ Supportguideline currencyworkbyevaluatingclinicalguidelinechanges,completing comprehensive reports,communicating findings toappropriate publicationgroups, andmaintainingan archivetoevaluateguidelineimpactsovertime.

+ Adhere to style guides (EBSCO and AMA), templates,and content structures.

+ Maintain quality and currency of content andparticipatein quality initiatives, such aspromotingconsistency across contentareasand ensuring inclusion of content from global sources.

+ Participate in editorial improvement projectsand other dutiesassigned by supervisor.

+ Use authoring tools, such asOxygen XML Author, and pre-approved artificial intelligence (AI) tools,such as MicrosoftCopilot,tofacilitateworkflow.

About You

+ Bachelor’s degree innursing orhealthcare-related field. Advanceddegreestronglypreferred(e.g.,MSN,MSW, DPT)

+ 2yearswriting experienceinvolvingmedical or scientific content andproficiencyin workingwith MS Office Suite, including Word and Excel

+ Demonstrated understanding of evidence-based practice and use of health information technology to support clinical decision making

+ Proficiencyinsystematic literature searchingand critical appraisal ofmedical, nursing,andhealth professionsliterature

+ Demonstrated ability to extract relevant clinical information fromthe literatureand write clinical content conciselyand accurately for point-of-care

+ Demonstrated ability tolocate, synthesize, and translate relevant guidelines for inclusion to support evidence-based practice

+ Willingness to learn content management systems and project tracking programs

+ Motivated self-learner and ability to self-manage multiple priorities with focus on team success

+ Excellentinterpersonal skills suchthatfeedback is effectively and constructively given and received

Pay Range

USD $71,245.00 - USD $101,775.00 /Yr.

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s work location.
