Summary:
Lenovo isseeking an experiencedSr.Technical Program Manager (TPM)to drive the successful delivery of complex AI systems, applications, and model development projects.As aSr.TPM, youwill serve as a bridge betweenmultipletechnical teams, product management, and stakeholders,operatingin a fast-paced, globally distributed company.Crucially, this role requires a strong technical foundation – the ability to understand and articulate complex technical details is essential for effective communication and problem-solving with our engineering and data science teams. Responsibilities:
+ **Project Planning and Execution:** Define program scope,objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
+ **Technical Leadership:** Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and stakeholders, to drive project delivery.Understand thebig-pictureand the system level to answer questions and clarify requirements.
+ **Risk Management:** Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with technical projects, ensuringtimelyresolution of issues.
+ **Communication:** Serve as a primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, progress, and issues.
+ **Project Monitoring and Control:** Track project metrics,identifydeviations from plans, and implement corrective actions as needed.
+ **Process Improvement:** Develop and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
+ **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, ora relatedfield.
+ **Experience:** 12+ years of experience in technical program management, software development, ora relatedfield, with a proventrack recordof successfully delivering complex projects.
+ **Technical Skills:** Strong understanding of software development methodologies, technical architectures, and industry trends, with the ability to understand and discuss technical concepts related to AI/ML, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs).
+ **Communication Skills:** Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
+ **Project Management Skills:** Proven experience with project management tools(e.g.Atlassian), techniques, and methodologies(e.g.Agile).PMP, PRINCE2, oranotherproject management certification is a plus.
