Usage Reporting Specialist

Usage transparency, analysis, and reporting are key elements of a subscription business. This role is critical in providing usage visibility and clarity as it relates to client contracts for Sales, Client Success, and Product teams. You will also engage directly with clients to guide them through the usage analysis process. In joining this vital team, you will shape, improve, and execute our internal and external usage reporting processes to help scale the business.

Picture Yourself at Pega:

As a Usage Reporting Specialist based out of Waltham MA, you will work in a hybrid capacity and are responsible for mission-critical usage analysis and reporting. Usage Validation team members work day-to-day with Sales, Client Success, Finance teams, Product, IT, and our Clients to analyze usage telemetry and make it more accessible throughout the company.

What You'll Do at Pega:

+ Engage with Clients and internal teams to analyze usage data as needed.

+ Participate in cross-functional initiatives to create a more mature and effective Usage Reporting management system.

+ Support the continuous improvement of usage reporting and visibility processes.

Who You Are:

+ You are just as happy picking up the phone to work with clients and account teams as you are diving deep into a trove of usage telemetry data.

+ You have a keen eye for detail when reviewing contract terms and can also step back to see the big picture to improve our strategy and processes for license consumption measurement.

+ Familiar with the as-a-Service business model, you are keen to roll up your sleeves and contribute to a growing team within a growing organization.

+ You have familiarity with SQL and have a strong willingness to develop new technical skills.

+ Equal parts collaborator, problem-solver, and results-getter, you understand the importance of getting the right things done and doing things right.

What You've Accomplished:

+ 2+ year previous experience in analyzing software usage data, is preferred.

+ Must thrive in an environment of measurable performance management.

+ Must have the ability to elicit action from others and build relationships both internally and externally

+ Familiarity with SQL is preferred

+ Familiarity with Databricks, data analytics reporting, and renewals data is a plus

Additional Information

Base salary range for this role is 69,900 - 104,500 USD annually. This role may also be eligible for annual bonus OR commission, as well as benefits and other incentives.

The final compensation will be determined during the offer process based on the candidate's education, experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as market conditions and may vary from the posted range. We will share an information on benefits, bonus/commission, and other pay components for this role at the relevant recruitment stage.
