Senior Fleet Data & Operations Analyst

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Supports the CTO Operations department by assessing and interpreting fleet performance metrics to optimize utilization, reduce maintenance expenditures, and identify improvement opportunities. This role generates detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations to guide data-driven decision-making, manages logistics requests, monitors service compliance against KPIs, and ensures proactive communication with all stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AT ALL LEVELS:
+ Assess and interpret fleet performance metrics, including maintenance expenditures, asset utilization, and service compliance against KPIs.
+ Generate accurate reports, dashboards, and presentations to support management decisions.
+ Manage logistics requests for vehicle fleets; troubleshoot operational challenges and maintain ongoing stakeholder communication.
+ Monitor and oversee aging inventory; proactively escalate risks and recommend solutions.
+ Develop processes, workflows, and frameworks for reporting and project tracking.
+ Use Microsoft Excel formulas, queries, and company software systems to analyze and visualize fleet data.
+ Prepare and support financial reporting and analysis for CAPEX/OPEX.
+ Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and operational data.
+ Provide administrative and operational support to ensure departmental goals are achieved.
+ Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and community or regional requirements for rural operations.

Additional Job Requirements:
Provides senior-level expertise, leveraging advanced analytics, financial stewardship, and operational oversight to ensure fleet and logistics operations align with company strategy. Operating with broad autonomy, the senior role is a subject matter expert (SME) responsible for vendor stewardship, KPI compliance, advanced reporting frameworks, and cross-functional consultation on fleet strategy and resource allocation.
+ Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for fleet data analytics, operations strategy, and reporting frameworks.
+ Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level dashboards, analytics models, and reporting systems.
+ Partner with leadership to prepare strategic plans, financial forecasts, and vendor stewardship strategies.
+ Provide advanced oversight for CAPEX/OPEX allocation, vendor resource tracking, and cost optimization.
+ Mentor junior analysts, providing training on reporting systems, data analysis, and operational best practices.
+ Act as lead liaison with external vendors, auditors, and internal departments on fleet strategy and compliance.
+ Represent the department in cross-functional projects, ensuring operational needs are incorporated into strategic initiatives.
Additional Competencies:
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
+ Ability to create advanced Excel formulas, queries, and custom reports in company software applications.
+ Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
+ Attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting data insights.
+ Ability to collaborate across functions, manage vendors, and maintain stakeholder relationships.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required: *A combination of relevant work experience and/or education sufficient to perform the duties of the job may substitute to meet the total years required on a year-for-year basis
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Logistics, Data Analytics, or related field.*
+ Minimum three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in fleet management, logistics operations, or advanced data analytics or SME-level expertise.
Preferred:
+ Relevant telecom industry or job specific certifications.
+ Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
+ Project Management Professional (PMP)
+ Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
+ Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) or other fleet/logistics certifications
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:
+ This position may require access to reliable transportation for occasional travel between retail store locations, offices, worksites, or other locations as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS and WORKING CONDITIONS:
+ Work is primarily sedentary, requiring daily routine computer usage.
+ Ability to work shifts as assigned, work in standard office/home office setting, and operate standard office equipment.
+ Ability to accurately communicate information and ideas to others effectively.
+ Physical agility and effort sufficiently to perform job duties safely and effectively.
+ Ability to make valid judgments and decisions.
+ Available to work additional time on weekends, holidays, before or after normal work hours when necessary.
+ Flexibility to travel infrequently, including to rural Alaska communities.
+ Must work well in a team environment and be able to work with a diverse group of people and customers.
+ Virtual workers must comply with remote work policies and agreements.

Due to business needs employees may be contacted outside of the core business hours to respond to an immediate emergency.
