As a Sr. Advanced Software Engineer here at Honeywell, the primary responsibility of the person is to represent the engineering in CCB and for Field Issues, prioritize the items, reproduce, troubleshoot and fix issues till coding and completion of QA interacting with QA members. The person should be dynamic, able to juggle the priorities and should have good communication and interpersonal skills interacting with customers, integrators and other internal stakeholders. The person should have good design skills to propose and take the platform to the next level. He should be able to reasonably estimate the completion or Progress and should be updating the status simplifying the complexity. All within the agile development framework working with other multi site developers in the team.
You will report directly to our Sr. Software Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of one of our locations in Atlanta, GA, Pittsford, NY or Costa Mesa, CA on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our software engineering processes, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet customer needs and align with organizational goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Represent the engineering in CCB and for Field Issues, prioritize the items, reproduce, troubleshoot and fix issues till coding and completion of QA interacting with QA members
+ Should have good communication and interpersonal skills interacting with customers, integrators and other internal stakeholders
+ Should be able to reasonably estimate the completion or Progress and should be updating the status simplifying the complexity
+ Design, develop, and implement advanced software solutions that meet project requirements.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software specifications and ensure alignment with business objectives.
+ Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance software development processes.
YOU MUST HAVE
+ 12+ years of experience in software development and engineering.
+ C++ or C# Software Development /Troubleshooting Skills in MS Windows Environment
+ Relational databases concepts and SQL
+ Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
+ Proficiency in software architecture principles and design patterns.
WE VALUE
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Computer science.
+ Enterprise scale Software issue troubleshooting, debugging, Reverse Engineering skills and tools usage towards it.
+ Driver development experience interacting with Hardware devices.
+ Understanding of cloud infrastructure services (e.g., Microsoft Azure)
+ Experience leading software development projects and teams.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
+ Experience with web application security and understanding of basic cryptography is a plus
COMPENSATION
The annual base salary range for this position in California is $159K-$199K and New York is $138K-$173K (excluding most major metropolitan areas). Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
