    As a **Scaffold Helper** for our PICCo district at the **CP Chem project in Orange, Texas,** you will contribute to our team by:

    ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    The roles and responsibilities of a Helper may include but are not limited to the following items:

    Some knowledge in Scaffolding trade

    Based on Helper level will require hands on verifiable experience within the craft

    • Safely use Hand & Power Tools.

    • Unload materials, inspect item as directed by the Journeyman, and to assist in the maintenance of the laydown areas and project work areas.

    • Work safely always and promote safety to others around you.

    • Perform quality work as determined by your supervisor and project specifications.

    • Keep track of all components and materials for your project tasks.

    • Accountable for all assigned tools and materials at all times .

    • Help immediate supervisor with future tasks planning.

    • Coordinate work with other crafts and co-workers on the job.

    • Must work well as part of a team.

    • Keep a clean work area as well as clean tools, equipment, and material.

    • Plan and layout inventory from the warehouse as directed.

    • Help in checking areas are effectively barricaded, and travel paths are clear.

    • Work within all PCL and client guidelines, polices and project work rules.

    • Follow task priorities according to job schedule.

    • Pack and unpack boxes, crates, and/or sacks of materials.

    • Locate and assemble all necessary materials and equipment for a particular task and deliver those items where needed.

    • Participate and remain engaged in health, safety, quality, and environmental processes.

    • Conduct oneself as a Role Model when representing PCL and in contact with project and client personnel, coworkers, other contractors, subs, and the public and community.
