We are looking for a proactive and experienced leader to spearhead the Lean strategy and toolkit development, driving transformation across manufacturing and distribution at Vontier. This role is pivotal in delivering $15 million of incremental operating profit by streamlining operations, including footprint rationalization. The successful candidate will develop and execute a comprehensive Lean transformation strategy, manage a robust pipeline of Kaizen activities, and serve as a subject matter expert on Lean tools and innovations. Building strong relationships with business partners, site leaders, fostering a sustainable network of force multipliers through the VBS Expert and Champion Programs. A hands-on presence on the shop floor (Gemba) will enable deep operational insights. This role requires aligning projects with corporate strategy, delivering actionable insights to senior leadership, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that have measurable enterprise impact. This position also serves as a rotational or pathway role toward Functional Operational Leadership, offering significant leadership growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

+ Lead Lean strategy and toolkit development, supporting transformation across manufacturing and distribution.

+ To deliver $15M of incremental operating profit through streamlined operations across Vontier including footprint rationalization.

+ Develop Lean transformation strategy.

+ Own funnel of Kaizen activities through the central repository.

+ Lead toolkit content and innovation.

+ Act as SME on Lean tools.

+ Build relationships with customer foundation lead, BPs, and site leaders.

+ Build a sustainable network of force multipliers through the VBS Expert and Champion Programs.

+ Strong in person presence to get a deep understanding of Gemba.

+ Align projects with strategy.

+ Report insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related.

+ 15+ years’ experience in LEAN Transformation Roles with deep understanding of applying Lean Principles across functional areas.

+ Proven experience interacting with C-Suite Executives

+ Exceptional at leading and effecting change through influence; adept at change management

+ Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills

+ Travel 50-75%
