**Job Title:** Part Purchasing and Materials Coordinator

**FLSA Status:** Non-Exempt, Full-Time
FECON, LLC is a vegetation management equipment manufacturer located in Lebanon, Ohio near Kings Island Amusement Park. Job Summary:
The Parts Purchasing and Materials Coordinator, places purchase orders for inventory and direct ship customer orders, looks for new supplier opportunities, documents all information for specific purchase orders and potential suppliers. This position will provide support for other parts department activities as well.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
+ Uses sales personnel information and warehouse availability for demand to issue purchase orders.
+ Complete purchase order confirmations, updates lates purchase order lines for both stock inventory and customer order allocations. Updates customer order lines for orders that are past due.
+ Contact suppliers to retrieve parts information, including pricing, availability, part number, etc.
+ Generates drop ships as needed, creates purchase order.
+ Issues requisition and examines returned parts for defects and exchanges defective parts or refunds money by sending to accounting.
+ Will run and make decisions on the Warehouse Availability report weekly
+ Will take cycle counts weekly.
+ Assists with physical inventory.
+ Assists in the boxing and shipping of orders when back up is needed.
+ Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, which are essential for working with customers, vendors and internal departments.
+ Mechanical aptitude for identifying parts and components and their relationship.
+ Computer skills for purchase order entry, communication, and researching and sourcing parts are a must.
+ Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
Education and Experience:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ 2+ years of ERP System experience in order processing, purchasing, etc.
+ General computer knowledge is necessary, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
+ Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
+ Ability to talk and hear to enable effective communication.
+ Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
+ Vision abilities required by this job to read and write.
