Job Description

This is a fully on-site role - with the exception of Wednesday (remote) work day.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements for building applications and updating existing tools.

• Analyze and understand business workflows.

• Split time between two projects:

• Estimating Project: Develop and update requirements.

• Tech Stack Modernization: Support modernization initiatives and legacy systems.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams.

• Create business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specs, user stories, and process maps.

• Facilitate workshops and working sessions to clarify needs and validate solutions.

• Support testing cycles (UAT, test case creation, issue tracking).

• Maintain up-to-date documentation and ensure alignment between business needs and technology outcomes.

• Participate in process improvement and modernization strategies.

Pay Rate: $35-$45/hr

Skills and Requirements

• 2+ years as a Business Analyst (mid-level), ideally in technology/software environments.

• Experience with estimating platforms, ERP systems, or related business systems is a plus.

• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

• Familiarity with Agile/Waterfall methodologies and tools (Confluence, Jira, Visio, MS Office).

• Ability to work independently and adapt to shifting priorities.

• On-site availability for meetings and collaboration. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
