    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for an experienced Operating Room RN, with specific experience in General Surgery to join Ardent in their Tyler, TX location. On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for both clinical and administrative tasks, as well as training and leading the recent graduates relying on your previous experience. There is a $20,000 sign on bonus, as well as a relocation package for up to $10,000 depending on the distance of relocation.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Active RN license in Texas (or Compact license)

     

    - Minimum 2 years of recent OR RN experience

     

    - Must be able to circulate general surgery cases independently

     

    - BLS required

     

    - Strong knowledge of AORN standards, sterile technique, and perioperative workflow

     

    - Experience coordinating multiple surgeons and case types in a fast-paced environment

     

    - Ability to anticipate needs for laparoscopic, robotic, open, and emergent general surgery

     

    - Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams (surgeons, anesthesia, SPD, vendors) - 1+ year specialty experience in General Surgery as a primary service

     

    - BSN or higher degree

     

    - CNOR certification

     

    - Proficiency with robotic platforms

    - Experience with:

    o Emerging technologies and enhanced recovery protocols

    o Preference card optimization

    o Trauma activation readiness and rapid case turnover

     

    - Competency using EPIC or similar OR documentation systems
