Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) has technology, engineering and program teams that educate and mentor colleagues to deliver leading Electronic Warfare capabilities. Great opportunity within the Advanced Electronic Warfare Solutions (AEWS) Product Line to join a team of professionals working on supporting the F-22 aircraft. This is a fast-paced strategic area in the BAE Systems Electronic Solutions Business Sector.

As a Contract Administrator I, you will assist in the coordination and management of basic or routine proposals, contracts and purchase orders under the direct supervision and guidance of a higher level Contract Administrator or Manager. You will develop a working understanding of the US Government Acquisition and Procurement process, the BAE Systems Contracts function and relevant Company policies and procedures, FAR/DFAR, commercial contracting methods and other government regulations. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact between the Company and the Customer for all contractual matters on assigned contracts. Under the specific guidance of the higher level Contract Administrator or Contracts Manager, you will negotiate routine contracts and changes commensurate with experience and demonstrated competence.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Develop a working understanding of the US Government Acquisition and Procurement process, the BAE Systems Contracts function and relevant company policies and procedures, commercial contracting methods, FAR/DFARS, export and other government regulations.
+ Research contract language and seek guidance on complex terms and conditions from higher level Contract Administrators or Contract Management.
+ Assist upper-level Contract Administrators in negotiations and other activities such as fact-finding and support of data calls that are required.
+ Act as a point of contact between the Company and the Customer for all contractual matters on assigned contracts. Negotiate routine contracts and changes commensurate with experience and demonstrated competence under the specific guidance of the higher-level Contracts Administrator or Contracts Manager.
+ Coordinate with other company functions as required to ensure appropriate reviews are conducted, scheduling required reviews, and obtaining required review and approval signatures prior to submittal of proposals or execution of contractual documents.
+ Administer all aspects of assigned contract processing including, but not limited to, accuracy of order entry data, contract funding, scope changes, contract amendments, receipts and delivery schedules, legal requirements and other commitments.
+ Compile and maintain all required contractual records and documents in accordance with contract requirements and Company policies and procedures. Serve as the official repository for all contractual documentation and correspondence relative ta assigned contracts.
+ Participate in final stages of assigned contract by (1) verifying completion of all commitments, and (2) performing assigned activities associated with Contract Closeout.
+ Performs other duties as required.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Bachelor s degree
+ Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties;
+ Communicate effectively both orally and in writing;
+ Exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel and customers;
+ Utilize computer skills to prepare appropriate reports and documents;
+ Make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations;
+ Develop/demonstrate research and presentation skills;
+ Ability to multitask and work under frequent deadlines;
+ Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ 2 years of relevant Contract or equivalent experience
+ Ability to read Contractual documents, experience with US Government Acquisition and Procurement process, the BAE Systems Contracts function and relevant company policies and procedures, commercial contracting methods, FAR/DFARS, export and other government regulations.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $55295 - $94001
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
