Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Maintenance) to join their team. This engineer will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all mechanical systems within the facility. This position involves a combination of hands-on technical work and strategic planning to support production goals and minimize downtime. Key responsibilities include:
• Maintenance Planning & Execution: Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for mechanical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose mechanical issues quickly and accurately, perform root cause analysis, and execute corrective actions to restore equipment functionality.
• Project Management: Lead and support mechanical improvement projects, including equipment upgrades, installations, and process optimization initiatives.
• Collaboration: Work closely with production teams, electrical engineers, and external vendors to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure seamless operations.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and spare parts inventory. Prepare reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to regulatory requirements and company safety protocols.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance equipment reliability, reduce costs, and improve overall plant efficiency through innovative solutions.
This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and can balance technical expertise with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Skills and Requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or engineering roles
• Strong background in mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
• Basic understanding of electrical systems to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience managing projects and working cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting Additional/Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of industrial safety standards and regulatory compliance (OSHA, ISO).
• Proficiency with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and tools for scheduling and tracking work orders.
• Experience with root cause analysis and reliability engineering techniques.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing complex mechanical issues.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) or experience leading capital improvement projects (optional but valuable).
