    Job Description

    Insight Global is hiring a Mid-Level Software Developer for a leading aerospace company in Southern California, where the role involves full-cycle application development including design, coding, testing, and maintenance. The developer will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, ensure software compatibility and security, support integration of commercial and custom applications, and assist with server setup. Responsibilities also include optimizing performance, resolving architecture issues, maintaining technical documentation, and staying current with emerging technologies—all while ensuring compliance through security scans and updates. This position is 5 days a week in El Segundo, CA.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Active DoD Top Secret clearance

     

    5+ Years of software development experience with application integration and system architecture, utilizing standard IT lifecycle methodologies and tools.

     

    5+ Years of experience with .Net technologies

    3+ Years of Microsoft SharePoint

    3+ Years writing database queries in SQL server or Oracle. Current Security+ certification or ability to obtain post-start

     

    5+ years' experience with Microsoft SharePoint development and administration

     

    3+ years' experience with ColdFusion Development

     

    3+ years of experience with web services and client-side technologies

     

    3+ years of experience with UI frameworks such as jQuery, Angular, or ReactJS

     

    3+ years of experience with HTML and CSS

     

    3+ years of experience working in Agile development environments

     

    3+ years of experience with configuration management

     

    3+ years of experience in software requirements gathering and documentation

     

    3+ years of experience using Git workflow
