**Job Summary** :
Hospitality Engineering is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Building Maintenance Assistant Manager toassist with the maintenance functions at 3 of our propertie s. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety,functionality, and appearance of the property, while supervising a team of maintenance professionals. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to facility maintenance.
Job Specifications:
+ Starting Wage: $56,485.00/hr - $74,518.63/hr
+ Employment Type: Year Round
+ Shift Type: Full Time hours available
+ Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age
+ Housing Availability: No
Job Responsibilities:
+ Oversee and perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and pool/hot tubs.
+ Responsible for ordering and billing.
+ Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
+ Maintain vendor relationships and coordinate with external contractors as needed.
+ Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
+ Monitor expenses and optimize resource utilization.
+ Collaborate with hotel management to support overall operations and guest experience.
+ Participate in Vail Resorts Best Practice Groups, Maintenance specific, property specific and market wide leadership team meetings, along with resort/company special events.
+ Demonstrate the ability to communicate professionally to staff, guests, and homeowners. Respond and engage with customer suggestions, complaints and recognition.
+ Deliver the “Experience of a Lifetime” to our staff, guests, and homeowners.
+ Adhere to all policies, rules, and regulations for Vail Resorts and lead a team to the same standard.
Job Requirements:
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Valid Driver's License
+ Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
+ Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
+ Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
The expected pay range is $56,485.00/hr - $74,518.63/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
