    Now Hiring: Security Officers (Multiple Openings – Houston Area)

     

    Shifts: Day, Evening, Overnight, Weekends, and Holidays

     

    United Protective Services is seeking dependable and adaptable Security Officers to join our growing Houston team. We have multiple openings across various client locations, offering opportunities for reliable professionals who take pride in service, safety, and integrity.

     

    The Security Officer plays a key role in maintaining safety, enforcing site policies, and providing professional customer service. Ideal candidates are flexible, well-presented, and capable of quickly adjusting to new sites, duties, and client expectations while maintaining a strong and confident presence.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients, tenants, and the public.

    + Observe, report, and document safety hazards, suspicious activity, and rule violations.

    + Complete accurate and timely incident, activity, and shift reports using company systems.

    + Conduct foot or vehicle patrols to ensure the safety of premises and personnel.

    + Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and requests for assistance.

    + Enforce access control and verify identification of all visitors, vendors, and contractors.

    + Follow all post orders, site procedures, and client expectations during each assignment.

    + Uphold company standards in appearance, professionalism, and customer service.

    + Exhibit a firm but respectful approach in enforcing site rules and regulations.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + One (1) year of customer service experience

    + Non-Commissioned Security Officer Registration (preferred)

    + No Class B misdemeanors within the past 5 years

    + No Class A misdemeanors within the past 10 years

    + No felony convictions

    + Valid driver’s license or state ID with a clean driving record

    + Must pass a drug test and background check

    + Reliable transportation required
