Security Analyst Investigator Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate development and implementation of Intel cycle across a range of internal stakeholders to identify online threats.
2. Illuminate threats within an ecosystem, across problems, clearly explaining emerging trends with an emphasis on geo-political, cultural or societal specific differences.
3. Inform effective strategies to prevent or disrupt abuse at scale and consult on mitigations to effect those strategies.
4. Proactively hunt for currently undetected abuse by leveraging internal data, open-source intelligence and third party private intelligence.
5. Investigate complex cases to understand attribution and identify enforcement strategies.
6. Inform the company’s understanding of previously unidentified threat types through the production of strategic and tactical intelligence, and its dissemination to the appropriate audiences.
7. Address sensitive content issues, including but not limited to graphic images, videos and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other objectionable material.
8. One of the key objectives is operationalizing work and ensuring sustainability of the process as team scales and branches out.
9. Use market specific knowledge, signals and insights to identify and scope scalable solutions to improve the experience of our community.
10. Build out and improve processes for newer markets in high-risks countries.
11. Gather and analyze relevant data by interpreting reports, dashboards and presentations.
12. Identify and lead end-to-end operational improvement opportunities and ensure on-time delivery of critical initiatives.
13. Collaborating cross-functionality with various teams through risk assessment and quality assurance to drive projects to success.
Minimum Qualifications:

14. 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation
15. Requires 4 years of experience in the following:
16. Large-scale data analysis using big data tools such as Maltego, Palantir, and Tableau
17. Data querying and manipulation using SQL
18. Threat investigation using internal datasets, open-source intelligence, and third-party private intelligence sources
19. Abuse detection and enforcement strategy implementation for harm mitigation
20. SQL querying for large dataset analysis in support of investigations
21. Large dataset interpretation to identify abuse trends and support investigative conclusions
22. Use of investigative tools and open-source investigative methods for abuse detection
Public Compensation:
$191,394/year to $226,160/year + bonus + equity + benefits
