    The Opportunity:

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Software Lead Discipline Manager to oversee our C-C5ISR Division. In this critical role, you will lead and manage a team of over 60 engineers, collaborate with upper management to enhance product capabilities, and provide hands-on software architecture support for programmatic day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development via micro-services using Java Spring Boot, Angular and Python.

    Responsibilities:

    Leadership and Management:

    + Lead and mentor a team of 60+ software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

    + Conduct performance reviews, set professional development goals, and ensure team members have the resources they need to succeed.

    Strategic Collaboration:

    + Work closely with upper management and the program office to develop and implement strategic initiatives that enhance product capabilities and drive business growth.

    + Identify opportunities for maximizing software reuse and improving profitability across various programs.

    Software Architecture:

    + Design and implement robust, scalable micro-services architectures using Java Spring Boot, Angular/React and Python.

    + Provide hands-on software architecture support to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement full-stack solutions that meet business requirements.

    Full-Stack Development:

    + Lead the development of full-stack applications, ensuring seamless integration between front-end and back-end services.

    + Utilize Java Spring Boot for backend services and Python for various components, including data processing and automation.

    Operational Excellence:

    + Oversee day-to-day operations within the C-C5IRS Division, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality.

    + Implement best practices in software development, testing, and deployment to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

    Stakeholder Engagement:

    + Act as a liaison between the engineering team and other stakeholders, including product management, sales, and customer support.

    + Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice versa.

    Qualifications:

    _Required:_

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

    + Active TS/SCI is required to start the position, must be willing to obtain/maintain a polygraph

    + Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices architectures using Java Spring Boot, Angular/React and Python.

    + Extensive experience in full-stack development, including frontend technologies (e.g., React, Angular) and backend services.

    + Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and practices.

    + Proficiency in Java Spring Boot, Python, and front end UI technology.

    + Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

    + Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    + Ability to collaborate effectively with upper management and cross-functional teams.

    + Demonstrated success in maximizing software reuse and driving profitability.

    _Desired:_

    + Experience in the government contracting SIGINT sector.

    + Certifications in project management (PMP, Scrum Master) or software architecture (TOGAF, Certified Software Architect).

    **Pay Range** : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.     The proposed salary range for this position is:

    $158,000 - $347,600
