Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full\-time early\-career Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineer\. In this role, the candidate will perform duties of mission analysis, flight dynamics, test analysis support, requirements verification, and system design\. The candidate will participate in issue resolution as well as develop solutions to complex technical problems while ensuring sound technical content and timely resolution\. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of flight dynamics, trajectory simulation techniques, Klaman filter development, as well as utilizing MATLAB for system architecture design and data analysis\.

This position requires the candidate to work on\-site full time\. The candidate must be a US citizen as well as be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance\.

Basic Qualifications:

The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited university\.

Demonstrated experience using Matlab and/or Simulink for modeling and simulation

Demonstrated experience with trajectory modeling

Experience in performing test data processing and analysis

Knowledge of Git and configuration management

Desired Skills:

Experience in the practical application and development of Kalman filters

Experience with inertial measurement unit design and modeling

Knowledge of digital signal processing techniques

Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with team members

Demonstrated ability to work in cross\-functional teams to resolve technical issues

Active DOD Secret security clearance

**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

**Schedule for this Position:** 9x80 every other Friday off
