The Commercial Training and Development Manager is responsible for designing, executing, and continuously improving scalable and sustainable learning programs across the North American Commercial organization. This role blends strategic program development with direct facilitation and coaching, ensuring associates and leaders are equipped to succeed in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.
This position reports to the Commercial Excellence & Learning and Development Manager and is part of the Commercial Excellence team and will be fully remote.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Design and deliver scalable, competency-based learning programs that support onboarding, immersion, and ongoing development across the commercial organization.
+ Facilitate engaging, results-oriented training experiences in both virtual and in-person settings, while coaching associates and collaborating with managers to reinforce learning.
+ Serve as the local LMS Learning Lead, managing content, assignments, and learning pathways aligned with global standards and business objectives.
+ Continuously assess training effectiveness and identify skill gaps through feedback loops, needs assessments, and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
+ Lead program planning and improvement efforts by prioritizing initiatives, applying critical thinking, and championing a culture of continuous learning and customer focus.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Organizational Development, Medical Technology, or a related field. Masters is a plus.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and curriculum development, or learning and development within a commercial or healthcare setting.
+ Demonstrated experience in designing and authoring competency-based learning content using instructional design principles and integrated feedback mechanisms.
+ Proven ability to manage training programs with measurable outcomes, including planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
+ Advanced proficiency in LMS administration (preferably Seismic), with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, MS Teams, Zoom, and familiarity with Dynamics 365.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
+ Ability to travel up to 50% or more domestically, including occasional global travel, as mandated
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Experience conducting training needs assessments and presenting strategic learning proposals to cross-functional stakeholders.
+ Ability to coach and certify associates in customer-facing training environments, including observation-based feedback during field visits.
+ Familiarity with compliance training standards and clinical protocols, including Operating Room Protocol (AORN) and HealthStream.

The annual salary range for this role is $110,000 - $120,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
