The Impact You'll Make

Danfoss in Shawnee, OK, is currently looking to hire a skilled Distribution Technician. This important role involves a variety of tasks such as packaging, kitting, and shipping products and materials efficiently; receiving incoming items carefully; auditing materials and processes thoroughly to ensure the highest quality standards; maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records; handling various material management responsibilities; entering all related data accurately; and preparing all essential distribution documents in a timely manner.

What You’ll Be Doing

+ Efficiently and safely perform various material handling tasks, including loading and unloading freight, stacking and transporting palletized goods, and managing storage and retrieval from vertical racks.

+ Accurately package, label, move items, and complete all required documentation according to distribution instructions.

+ Carry out Operations 80 activities such as installing plugs and seals, removing overspray paint, and verifying motors meet Danfoss’s quality standards before shipment.

+ Collaborate with schedulers, internal personnel, and external suppliers to address allocation and shortage issues.

+ Manage shippingtasks by coordinating freight carriers and ensuring all products and documentation, including domestic and export paperwork, are accurate and complete per customer orders.

What We're Looking For

+ A high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution is required.

+ Preference will be given to candidates with at least 8 months of experience in distribution, including packaging, shipping, or receiving.

+ Only applicants residing within the immediate Shawnee, OK area will be considered.

+ Must demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, along with essential basic computer data entry skills.

+ Proven capability to engage positively with team members in a collaborative environment is required.

+ Ability to read, comprehend, and accurately apply information from all relevant documents is essential.
