    At Merrimack Health, we are committed to pay transparency and equity. The base salary range is $17.59 (Min) — $26.39 hourly (Max), excluding fringe benefits and potential bonuses.

     

    Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth.

     

    As the Secretary of Echocardiology, you will be asked to support the echo lab and stress lab staff , answering busy phones, and daily interaction with patients, physicians, and other hospital departments. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills a must! A friendly, can-do attitude, professional demeanor and strong Service Excellence orientation are all required.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Answers the telephone in a courteous manner expressing a greeting to the caller and identifying self and department.

    + Keeps the Echocardiology staff and management informed of any unusual concerns, situations, or conditions relative to staff, patients, and physicians.

    + This is a Monday through Friday position. No weekends! No holidays!

    + This position reports to the Manager of the Echo Lab .

    EDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE:

    Required:

    + High School Graduate

    + Word processing skills; ability to follow oral and written communications.

    + Excellent time management skills.

    + Experience in a hospital in a related setting.
