+ Responsible for overseeing the Flight Service Training Support Team and the Instructor Scheduling team. Additionally, this position will strategize around the departmental staffing model, position allocations, and long-term planning to drive efficiencies within the training operation.
+ This job is a member of the Flight Service Training Team within the Customer Experience Division.

What you’ll do

+ Lead a team of direct reports
+ Develop and manage monthly as well as yearly staffing utilization plan
+ Responsible for reconciliation of monthly staffing usage for FS Training operation
+ Conduct monthly training planning calls and coordinate with applicable stakeholders
+ Coordinate with Crew Planning and Finance monthly regarding special assignment usage
+ Support monthly schedule bidding process for FS Training
+ Interface with internal and external labor partners to resolve issues regarding scheduling of training
+ Handle and resolve escalated calls, as needed
+ Updates/Issues crew qualifications following completion of training
+ Preform audit(s) of all web-based training completion, issued qualifications and, training eligibility for students attending training
+ Flex to support additional projects and responsibilities, as needed
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
+ Advanced knowledge of FOS and associated systems
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
+ 1 year of scheduling experience including knowledge of building staffing models
+ 2 years of direct report experience
+ Prior experience issuing, auditing, and maintaining crew qualifications
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
+ Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite including Excel and Access
+ Knowledge of enterprise Learning Management System (LMS)
+ Knowledge of Deputy scheduling software
+ Knowledge of APFA contract including legalities and training provisions
+ Ability to identify gaps in procedures and develop long-term solutions
+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve conflicts
+ Strong task organizational skills with adherence to developed business practices
+ Ability to shift focus to new projects as business needs change
