As a **Security Officer - Financial Dispatch Specialist** in **Farmington, MI** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a financial institution location, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations by monitoring systems and coordinating responses to incidents. You will help to deter potential security-related issues through consistent observation and strong communication, while providing exceptional customer service to staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

+ Operate as a central communication point for the site, handling incoming calls and coordinating responses to incidents and requests.

+ Monitor surveillance systems and alarm panels, reporting any irregularities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

+ Dispatch security personnel to various locations within the financial institution as required, maintaining accurate logs of all dispatch activities.

+ Support customer service efforts by providing information and assistance to staff, visitors, and/or clients as needed.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as appropriate for the location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and procedures.

+ Work closely with Allied Universal team members and on-site contacts to help to deter unwanted activity and help to maintain a secure environment.

+ Document and report all incidents, observations, and security-related activities in a thorough and timely manner.

+ Conduct regular checks of communication equipment and systems to confirm operational readiness.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
