As a **Security Professional - Telecom Access Monitor** in **Boise, ID** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a cutting-edge technology environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies for the location.

+ Screen individuals entering the premises, verifying credentials and/or identification as required by site protocols.

+ Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating when necessary.

+ Maintain accurate records and logs of screening activities and incidents as required by the site.

+ Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to address security-related concerns.

+ Assist with emergency response activities according to established procedures for the technology environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid security guard card or license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ CPR or first aid certification is preferred.

+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
